Thinking of what to cook? So don’t think too much and get ready to cook mutton Biryani. Make this delicious dish with simple ingredients.
Ingredients:
Beef 1 kg
Basmati rice 500 grams
2 large onions, chopped
Green cardamom 4
Black cardamom 2
Cinnamon 2
6 cloves
2 bay leaves
Ginger-garlic paste 2 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder
Yogurt 1 cup
Half a cup of milk
Half a cup of ghee
Salt to taste
Rose water 2 tbsp
Chopped mint leaves 1/4 cup
Chopped coriander leaves 1/4 cup
Method of preparation:
Heat 1/4 cup ghee in a large pot. Add chopped onions to it. Fry until brown. Now take it and keep it aside.
Add garam masala (cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and bay leaf) to the same bowl. Fry for one minute.
Now add mutton, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix all the ingredients well. Keep stirring for 10-15 minutes. Wait until the meat turns brown.
Add fried onions, curd, chopped mint leaves, and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well. Cook for 5-10 minutes.
Put the rice in another pot on the stove. Make sure to soak the rice for 30 minutes before putting it in the oven. When the rice is 80% cooked, remove it. Drain the excess water.
Now put a layer of rice and meat in a large bowl and put it in the oven. Pour ghee on the rice. Cover the pot tightly with aluminum foil.
Leave in the oven on low heat for 20-30 minutes
Remove from oven and sprinkle with rose water. Now serve mutton Biryani hot.
